Kill Team: Chalnath is the first expansion to the new edition of Kill Team (launched over the summer with the Kill Team: Octarius boxed set).

As an expansion for Kill Team, this boxed set provides 2 all-new specialist kill teams for use in game, including 10 all-new Adepta Sororitas Novitiates miniatures, as well as a 13-model T’au Empire Pathfinder Kill Team, which benefit from a set of new upgrades allowing the Pathfinders to make the wide variety of Specialists needed in Kill Team.

The set also includes some Sector Imperialis terrain, plus a new Kill Team gaming board, transfer sheets for each Kill Team, and a Kill Team Chalnath Book, which includes all the rules customers need to field these new specialist Kill Teams in their Kill Team games.

In Relation to Other Products:

As Kill Team: Chalnath is an expansion the customer will also require the skirmish game rules; established Kill Team players will have these, however new players will need to get the rules from another product. The Kill Team Octarius boxed set is one choice, its great value and not only does it contain two additional Kill Teams (Death Korps of Krieg Guardsmen and Ork Kommandos), it also contains terrain and the game rules as it contains the Kill Team Core Book (plus a host of other essential products every Kill Team player should own).

Alternatively, customers could opt to get the rules separately, buying a copy of the Kill Team Core Book, which ensures they have access to all the core rules essential to play games of Kill Team. These customers will also want to pick up the Kill Team: Killzone Essentials product, which provides customers with the additional essential tools of war required to play games of Kill Team (as these and the rules also come in the Octarius boxed set, the Octarius boxed set is a great way to get them all at once).

Conversations with customers who’ve already picked up the Octarius boxed set, should focus around the Kill Team: Compendium. This rules tome contains additional rules for fielding any of 19 different factions from across the 41st Millennium in games of Kill Team. The Compendium is also a great addition for any customer who’s wanting to go ‘all-in’ as well.

The Kill Team: Tac Ops Cards are a great smaller add on item, for all customers who enjoy the ease of playing their games without having to refer to objective lists contained in their Rulebooks – this handy set of cards (which are also contained in the Octarius boxed set) provides both players with all the possible objectives they could pick from, making their gaming as easy as possible, rather than them having to secretly note their objectives down at the start of the game.
