Our Games Systems

Our Games Systems

Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar

Our two main gaming systems are Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Warhammer 40,000 is our most popular and fastest selling product range. It features heavily in our Stockist Ranges which are designed to make stocking our products easy and drive a great return for value. The Best Sellers Foundation and Best Sellers Extra Box 200 ranges feature many of our very best selling Warhammer 40,000 products, with Games Workshop’s iconic Space Marines heavily featured.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar is the world’s best selling fantasy miniature game. Just like Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar products are a substantial part of the Stockist Best Seller Ranges, and a must for any retailer wanting to enhance the return on their business investment.

For both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, your Account Manager can assist with instore activities including introductory set ups, both also have an extensive range of specialised starter products for new customers.

Warhammer Underworlds
Warhammer Underworlds is Game Workshop’s ultimate competitive miniatures game; which, using a familiar seasonal game format, is one of the easiest Warhammer games to get into, boasting one of the best starter format products we do. The nature of the game promotes instore gaming, with a thriving event and tournament scene. Over 250,000 games have been sold to date; and its quick play, simple rules and low model count have made it a favourite for instore activity and ‘lunchtime’ style play.

Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game
A highly popular game since its appearance in 2001 alongside the Academy award winning films, the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game allows enthusiasts to collect and play in Tolkien’s world as shown in the books and films. Still popular today, and with interest in the IP currently increasing; the range is easy to stock with a dispenser focusing on the most popular lines.

Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team and Warhammer Age of Sigmar WarCry

Both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar have smaller skirmish games set in the backgrounds to their worlds. Skirmish games offer a smaller game (in terms of table space required and the number of miniatures required), and a shorter play time. As such they are often favourites for in-store gaming and popular with those wanting a game that can easily play in an evening.

Warhammer Quest

The Warhammer board games are very popular, and as board games offer a different kind of stock type to our other ranges. A ‘complete game in a box’ is a great product line to sell, particularly to those who love the worlds of Warhammer but are looking for something other than miniature games. Warhammer Quest has so far appeared both in Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar settings, and been enormously popular every time.

Blood Bowl
Blood Bowl is one of Games Workshops oldest games and still a hot favourite. Just like Warhammer Underworlds, Blood Bowl is very popular for instore and event gaming given its accessible nature, its format and short playtime. Its condensed range and enduring appeal make it a popular line to stock, and Blood Bowl is a boost to any retailers offer.

Horus Heresy

The Horus Heresy game utilises a setting from the Warhammer 40,000 universes ‘past’. At a similar scale to Warhammer 40,000 (meaning that many miniatures and models are interchangable) the Horus Heresy range is a great option for expanding your Warhammer range offer beyond Warahmmer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Underworlds.

Adeptus Titanicus and Aeronautica Imperialis
Both games are set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe on a very different scale. Where Warhammer 40,000 focuses on the efforts of individual troopers; with these games play shifts to gigantic machines of war and aircraft. Appealing to those wanting a different kind of game, these products are great for stores specialising in their Warhammer offer.

Necromunda
Necromunda is another game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, whilst a skirmish game with a low miniature count like Kill Team, its a more complex game with a range suited to more specialist stores with their larger customer bases.

And dont forget!

Whilst we’ve covered game systems here, we shouldn’t forget that Citadel Paints are a major revenue generator for our retail partners; the low price point repeat purchase products being the ideal complimentary product for the Best Seller Foundation’s Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and Underworlds product lines. A paint rack is a must for all specialist stores
