The Old World

The long anticipated return to Warhammer Fantasy’s World of Legend is here with the launch of Warhammer: The Old World

Eagerly awaited, the return to the Old World starts with the introduction of two big boxed products offering a way for your Warhammer enthusiast customers to get into the new game system.

Warhammer: The Old World – Fantasy Battles in the World of Legend: Kingdom of Bretonnia

Warhammer: The Old World – Fantasy Battles in the World of Legend: Tomb Kings of Khemri

These two boxes are designed to give customers all the rules & accessories they need to play the new game, along with an army.

Customers wanting to play The Old World have a choice, both products have the game rules in, but theyll get to choose which army theyd like to play (note that unlike the game boxes for our other systems, The Old World boxes are army focused, so only include one faction rather than two). They both contain the complete hardback rulebook, dice & templates.

Warhammer: The Old World – Fantasy Battles in the World of Legend: Tomb Kings of Khemri contains a total of 93x Tomb Kings miniatures including returning classics and brand-new models.

Warhammer: The Old World – Fantasy Battles in the World of Legend: Kingdom of Bretonnia includes a total of 76x Bretonnian miniatures (again, both old and new) and like the Tomb Kings box contains a 1250 point army already balanced against its opposing faction.

A key purchase for Old World enthusiasts are the compilation Army Books; these cover The Old Worlds many factions, and are divided into two books: Warhammer: The Old World – Forces of Fantasy (which includes the full Bretonnia army list as one of its factions) and Warhammer: The Old World – Ravening Hordes (which includes Tomb Kings).

If Bretonnian or Tomb Kings enthusiasts want to dive even further into their faction, the Arcane Journals are detailed publications providing background on the faction with new scenarios and additional rules content.

Another way for hobbyists to get the game rules, perhaps as part of digging out their old Warhammer Fantasy miniature collections, is the hardback Warhammer: The Old World Rulebook (the same as included within the Tomb Kings and Bretonnian boxes), which is also available separately.

Supporting these main products are a host of releases; some of the most important of which are brand new kits including the Battle Standard Bearer on Royal Pegasus and highly anticipated Knights of the Realm on Foot, as well as a wealth of classic miniatures returning for the first time in years.
